Witness Hydrostatic Testing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hydrostatic Testing is performed to confirm the integrity of the Pressure Boundary for Boilers, Pressure Vessels, Portions of Boilers and Vessels including penetrations, appurtenances, valves, fixtures, and for Piping and Tubing Systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the testing is to confirm, under simulated Operating or Design Pressure, that there is not unsafe, abnormal, or excessive deformation, and that there are no leaks across the Pressure Boundary. Hydrostatic Testing is usually performed after manufacture, welded repair, field installation, or field maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
